Ko Chang
In Ko Chang now, spent all of glen’s birthday travelling, which wasn’t so fun, but worth it in the end. Staying in a place right on lonely beach. Very beautiful.
The trip down wasn’t as bad as we thought it would be and the driver got us here pretty quick in 5 hours, but I think that was mainly due to his complete lack of road safety. Once we arrived we found a place to stay, walked along the beach at sunset (swoon )and glen got a birthday cake with his name on.

Bangkok
So we arrived! Long flight but that was made up for by the above average plane food. Emirates know how to do it!
The weather’s hot! Loving our first taste of Thailand
First day in Bangkok was a bit of a blur. We spent most the time in a sleepy daze walking about shopping complex’s. The one near our hotel was designed like an actual airport which confused me no end. It even made you walk through xray machines, which i now realise were fake, and i got really alarmed when there were arrows pointed to ‘flights to rome’
Day two was more success, did the general touristy things of getting lost and bartaring with rickshaw drivers. We came out of one temple and tried to get a rickshaw quite a long way for 20 baht ( about 50p ) which i now see was a bit cheeky of us and why the driver shouted at glen haha. We got conned into a rickshaw on our way to KS Rd, but it worked out largely in our favour. We everntually got there though, which was nice as I was beginning to wonder where all the westerners were, drank a little too much Chaing beer, and people watched for about 2 hours.
Today we booked our tickets to Ko Chang (6 pound for a 7 hour journey), gonna stay there for 4/5 days, get our tan on. Can’t wait to get out there!
Everything’s super cheap, everyone’s friendly, and i can definately see why people come and spends their pensions here.
